This policy explains what personal data dailyresearchnews.com collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Daily Research News publishes this website at dailyresearchnews.com. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you visit
Like any website, our hosting server and our network provider, Cloudflare, process your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. These providers keep technical logs for a limited time.
When you comment
If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and website you enter, the comment itself, your IP address and your browser’s user agent string, to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. A hashed string made from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture there. The Gravatar privacy policy applies to that service.
If you choose to save your details, a cookie keeps your name, email and website for one year so you do not have to type them again.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first. Team members who log in receive the login cookies WordPress needs, and Cloudflare may set a cookie needed for security.
Embedded content
Articles may include content embedded from other websites, such as videos or social media posts. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own policy.
How long we keep data
Comments and the data stored with them are kept until the comment is removed.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that run the site: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and Gravatar for comment pictures as described above.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the current version.
