Apple makes room for AirPods Studio, no more headphones from other brands

Technology

If you were planning to buy third-party headphones from Apple, I have some bad news for you. The California company has stopped selling headphones and speakers that are not made by Apple.

The change was noticed by Bloomberg and probably has to do with the fact that Apple (according to many leakers) will soon be selling its own over-ear headphones called AirPods Studio and a second version of the HomePod speaker.

Emptiness?
In the past, Apple sold speakers and headphones from brands such as Bose, Sonos and Logitech on their website and in physical Apple Stores, but these are nowhere to be seen. If you go to the headphones page you will only find products made by Apple, such as AirPods or headphones from Beats.

According to Bloomberg, employees at the brick-and-mortar Apple Stores were recently told to remove third-party speakers and headphones from the shelves, an interesting development.

AirPods Studio & HomePod
We’ve known for a long time that Apple is coming with headphones that share the name of the popular AirPods. It is also no coincidence that the stuff of other brands will be removed from the shelves this month, because there will also be a new Apple Event in a few weeks …

The AirPods Studio will cost $ 399 according to leakers, I think the headphones in the Netherlands will cost around 399 euros (or more). The new HomePod will likely be smaller than the original HomePod and will cost $ 299. We do not yet know whether the smart speaker will also come to the Netherlands, at least not the previous HomePod.
