According to a Bloomberg report, the company is plan to open “much more” of its stores in May. The report quotes Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s vice president of retail and people, who shared the news with their employees in a video update.

Apple Store already open in Seoul
“We will continue to review and analyze health conditions in all locations, and I expect to reopen many more stores in May,” said Deirdre O’Brien. The only Apple Store they have reopened outside of China is one in Seoul, which happened in April. At this time, all Apple Stores (except some stores in China and Korea) are closed.

Still, Bloomberg said O’Brien told employees that some locations in the United States will reopen in early May. MacRumors is talking about a completely different date, according to their report, Apple Stores in North America will not open until the middle of June.

Profit warning by coronavirus
Apple plans to report its March quarter earnings on April 30, the numbers are likely to be disappointing and impacted by store closings and disruptions to deliveries by the coronavirus.

It will be exciting when the Apple Stores will reopen everywhere, perhaps the profits of the coming months will increase again to make even more cheap phones.
